Laura and William are
instructors who live in the Hudson Valley of New
York State just north of New York City.
Biography Laura Martinez-Bianco: Laura is a plein
air painter who works throughout the Hudson Valley
and abroad. She is adept at capturing the essence of
the landscape. Working plein air enables Laura to
create her pastel paintings on site, quickly
capturing the light and color of a specific moment.
The variety of landscapes from mountains to rivers
edge from fields and pastures to forests, villages
and farmhouses provide unlimited inspirations. As
well as working in the Hudson Valley, Laura has
traveled to Italy, Canada and Africa to paint. Her
work is currently in private collections in the
United States and Italy. Laura's work has been
displayed at the Varga Gallery, Hudson Valley
Gallery, The James Douglas Gallery and the Katonah
Museum of Art. She is an active member of the NYPAP.

Biography William Noonan: Originally from New York.
He has a BFA from SUNY Purchase and has since
studied at the New York Academy of Art, the
Woodstock School of Art, The International School of
Art-Umbria Italy, and the Art Students League of New
York. He teaches at the Wallkill River School of
Art, The Barett Art Center and The Mill Street Loft.
William’s work is figurative and has a broad range
that includes plein-air landscape, still life,
figures, portraits and animal paintings. Primarily
working in oils he also includes watercolor, drawing
and printmaking techniques in his repertoire. His
work has been exhibited in New York, on Cape Cod,
and through various Internet venues. He is in
numerous private collections in the US and Europe
and has several pieces in the corporate collection
on Nielsen and Bainbridge who offer his work
nationally in print form. An inclination for the
figure, a deep love of Italian art and the
investigation of his own Italian heritage, through
travel and study, inform his work.
